Burda Style May 2012 issue–made it’s appearance in my post box

Although it made its appearance a good few days ago, I have not had the chance to pick my favourites from it yet.

So from this issue these are my favourites:

I love both  the top and the shorts. Already added them on my future project list.SNV32627

One look at this  skirt and I was in love. I like both the 3/4 length and the knee length one as well. But think I’ll stick with solid colour. I find that the side pleats look better on solids.

Another colour blocking project.

I’m thinking two bold colours for this dress. Still thinking about one or maybe two. What do you think?

Another lovely dress in plus update section.

I don't really like talking about myself. But, I love sewing and after reading a lot of blogs on the internet about it, I've decided to give it a go as well. I am Romanian born, but live in the UK. I am a bit selfish when it comes to sewing. I tend to make stuff more for myself. Others have to go through a lot of torture in order for me to make something. My mum did it twice. Well I only wanted to make the dresses fit her perfectly. And in the end they looked great.

    1. Thank you! Yes I will be doing that pencil skirt with the pleats! But I’ll make the shorter version in solid colour. As I am too short:)
